A market price, a spending choice, a movie rating. I get curious when seemingly simple signals reveal messy layers of human behavior. How do people form beliefs? How do those beliefs spread? And how do they shape what happens next? Economics is where I untangle these threads, sometimes with data, sometimes with a model, and often end up with more questions than I started with.
